Hello people! Thank you so much for looking at my shop!       

Born in England,  on the Isle of Wight, I have had no formal training but have instead  taken the opportunity to attend classes whenever  I got the chance.  I have always enjoyed creating art in various forms and have experimented with ceramics, textiles and glass fusing in the past, alongside painting with watercolours and soft pastels before settling on acrylic paints.   Here in Brittany where I have lived now for over ten years, I bought my first canvases, and  started to concentrate purely on painting.  Now I paint for hours at a time, and I feel I am becoming an artist, evolving into one without ever having made a conscious decision to make this my career.   Mostly I paint in an abstract style, organic abstracts, and abstract landscapes.  I paint freely,  with no fixed idea, and no aim other than to create something beautiful.   I am drawn to colours and the paint itself and love to explore and experiment with various media and techniques.  On the internet,  I sell mostly here on Artfinder, but locally, I exhibit at art markets, and sometimes in restaurants.  I am always on the lookout for new opportunities and fresh ideas.  I find I am inspired by everything and everybody, and am lucky enough to be supported and encouraged by artist friends both locally in Brittany, and globally via the Internet.
