Artworks by louis blondé

I am Louis Blondé, a French artist and interior architect based in Canada.

My work explores the relationship between architecture, nature and human presence. With a background in interior architecture, I have always been drawn to the way spaces are shaped by light, composition, materials and the people who inhabit them.

Through pastel drawing, I seek to capture the atmosphere and character of places, focusing on the emotions and fleeting moments that make them unique. Since moving to Canada, Toronto has become a major source of inspiration, with its distinctive architecture, urban landscapes, green spaces and everyday scenes.

Working with pastels allows me to explore colour, texture and light in an expressive and intimate way. Each piece is an original, one-of-a-kind artwork, created by hand and rooted in my personal experience of a place or moment.

Through my art, I hope to invite viewers to pause, look more closely at their surroundings and discover the beauty of familiar places from a different perspective.
