About ceramicABeli Alexandra Beliba

Biography

My name is Alexandra, and I am a ceramist with a lifelong dedication to artistic expression, particularly through ceramics.
While my academic background leaned towards music and dance, it's within ceramics where I unearthed my genuine artistic voice. Drawn to asymmetry, my inspiration stems from the dynamic forces and phenomena of the natural world.
The beauty of sculpting peculiar creatures to reflect my interpretation of forms and the world's beauty has been my true passion. The asymmetry in my work is inspired by the dynamic forces and phenomena of the natural world, where each piece is a unique reflection of this inspiration.
Initiating a new piece, I relinquish preconceived notions to allow my hands and instincts to guide the creation, unveiling the form as if by sheer enchantment. Embracing dynamic shapes and a fervent admirer of the Nerikomi technique, I enrich my creations with exquisite chromatic diversity.
My ethos lies in cultivating harmony and authenticity, merging material versatility with spontaneity and tactile elegance to imbue each piece with sophistication, grace..
