In my artistic practice, I engage with nature as a complete and self-sufficient system, present in both its immediate and abstract forms. I use natural structures and states not as illustrations, but as a way to convey a sense of presence, physicality, and connection with the surrounding world.
Working with acrylic on canvas, I place particular emphasis on texture. The surface of my works is intended to be experienced not only visually, but also physically — inviting closer observation and a tactile awareness. Through texture, I aim to reduce the distance between the viewer and the work, creating a sense of immersion and almost tangible contact.
My compositions are carefully constructed, yet they retain a sense of natural flow and organic balance inherent to processes found in nature. Repeating elements, color relationships, and textures form a cohesive space in which individual works and diptychs exist as part of a broader series.
Through my work, I seek to create a state of calm, quiet presence, and inner stillness — a space in which the viewer can slow down and reconnect with materiality and with themselves.
