Nature was a crucial character to my every day life, growing up. As I matured as an artist, that concern for nature turned into magical realism depictions of earthquakes and the ocean. The sublime beauty and danger of nature's power anchors my work. I often work between themes of power, beauty, and value. I like being able to show my audience the broader concepts and how they play together from one piece to another.
 I make small desk sculptures out of wire and steel, and block prints as well. I am stockpiling paintings in a new series and while I am not yet ready to sell the originals, I offer limited edition prints of my paintings.
