Biography
I work with painting, sculpture, and relief, creating a slightly surreal world where objects, animals, and symbolic forms turn into characters. My process often begins with a color spot, a shape, or a small visual accident that suddenly suggests a personality. From there, the work grows intuitively, piece by piece, until the character reveals itself.
I paint on canvas and paper using oil, acrylics, ink, and precise linework, mixing structured patchwork with more fluid, organic forms. In my reliefs, I combine unaltered everyday objects with hand‑painted abstract backgrounds, letting the contrast create a quiet tension between the ordinary and the transformed.
I’m interested in how we never see things fully — only partial views, overlaps, and unexpected details. My works play with that idea: the familiar shifting into something humorous, symbolic, or quietly strange.
