I am a British artist based in Kent, creating expressive oil paintings and mixed-media works that explore the relationship between nature, language, and emotional connection. My practice combines detailed florals, organic forms and hand-painted lettering to explore themes of transformation, positivity, and the beauty found in the natural world.

Traditionally, my work centred on hand-painted lettering using enamel and traditional gold leaf. Following the birth of my second child in 2022, I stepped back to re-evaluate my practice and found myself drawn towards a more instinctive way of creating. Transitioning to oil paint allowed my work to become slower, more intuitive and deeply connected to nature, with flowers, birds and fungi becoming central subjects.

Living in the Kent countryside and working between my home studio and a studio in Ashdown Forest has strengthened this connection. I am fascinated by the symbolism, colour and quiet narratives found within the natural world, particularly the language of flowers and the emotions they evoke.

My recent work has evolved into a distinctive fusion of floral painting and hand-lettered words, balancing precision with spontaneity, and structure with softness. Through this visual language, I aim to create work that feels uplifting, immersive and emotionally resonant.

At the heart of my practice is a desire to create beautiful, meaningful works that people can live alongside pieces that bring colour, feeling and character into everyday spaces.
