I am passionate about photography and have been practicing it since my middle school years—starting with film and now shooting digitally. I am fascinated by the aesthetic quality of light—its ability to transform space, sculpt forms, and evoke emotion. I am particularly drawn to shapes, lines, textures, and contrasts. Consequently, I shoot almost exclusively in black and white—making that choice right from the moment of capture, even when using a digital camera. I work in a 16:9 format during my photographic wanderings; I am very fond of this aspect ratio—more rectangular, panoramic, and cinematic—because, to me, it offers a more immersive experience.
I take photographs to express my vision of the world. For me, it is a creative outlet and—being a universal medium—the most fitting language for expressing my emotions. What I love above all else is making something visually compelling out of a subject that might initially seem unremarkable.
I am a lover of fine prints, as I believe a photograph only truly exists once it has been printed.
