Creating art has become an essential part of my life and wellbeing. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 34, and that experience has helped me understand why I have always been drawn so strongly to drawing and portraiture. I find that art is the one activity that truly calms my mind and allows me to focus completely. When I work with charcoal and graphite, the noise of everyday life fades away and I am able to enter a state of concentration and balance that is difficult to find elsewhere. My work is centred on portraiture and realism. I am fascinated by expression, emotion, and the subtle details that make each subject unique. Through charcoal and graphite, I aim to capture not only a likeness but also a sense of presence and feeling. I enjoy the discipline and patience that realistic drawing requires, and I take great care with tone, texture, and detail in every piece I create. I would love to sell my work on Artfinder because I admire its support for independent artists and its appreciation for original, handmade artwork. I want to share my portraits with people who connect with realistic art and who value the time, care, and emotion invested in each drawing.
