About Oxana Zaika

Biography

Art has been part of my life since early childhood. I started drawing at the age of two, studied at Moscow's School of Arts, and later graduated from the Moscow Institute of Fine Arts. Throughout my artistic journey, I have explored different media, but watercolor and Indian ink remain especially close to my heart. My work is inspired by the myths, traditions, crafts, and symbolic languages of cultures from around the world. I create detailed and imaginative compositions where animals and human figures inhabit dreamlike settings filled with intricate patterns and decorative elements. Through these works, I seek to celebrate beauty, diversity, and the timeless connection between people, nature, and storytelling. Creating art is my way of exploring the world and sharing wonder with others. Each painting is an invitation to discover a hidden narrative and to pause for a moment of contemplation and imagination. I would like to sell my work on Artfinder because I value its focus on original art and the direct connection it creates between artists and collectors. I am excited by the opportunity to share my paintings with an international audience and to see my work become part of people's homes and personal stories around the world.
