Biography
Alesia Yeremeyeva, an artist with deep roots in painting, employs oils to capture the ever-changing beauty of the ocean.
Alesia paints not just what she sees, but what she feels. The ocean, in its vast moods, offers an endless source of inspiration: crashing waves under stormy skies, sunlight refracting in crystal-clear water, or the silent glow of a coastal sunset. The inclusion of kids’ figures reflects the joy of the present and the freedom of youth. Through nuanced use of light and colour, Alesia creates contemplative scenes that foregrounds the fleeting, simple and pure moment of being fully present. Through oil and brush, she aims to pass that feeling to viewers.
Alesia layers oils using techniques from alla prima to sfumato, building atmosphere, depth, and light. Her process is intuitive and emotionally led, rooted in awe for nature’s poetry. Her artworks serve as an emotional conduit, inviting viewers to resonate with the tranquillity and majesty of the sea, pulling them away from the daily rush to a moment of awe-inspired stillness.
Retaining spirit of impressionism, Alesia’s works are mainly represented in marine realism style. Each painting is created in her home studio with care and intention.
Art, to Alesia, is not about thoughts, but sensation. No words. Just emotions.
Alesia exhibited widely across UK and many collectors span the globe. Her works found their homes in the UK, Northern Ireland, all over Europe, Middle East, East Asia, USA and Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
