In creating this artwork, I aimed to capture the ephemeral beauty of a serene summer day by the sea. The delicate play of light on the water and the gentle interaction between the figures evoke a sense of peaceful companionship and careless joy. Painted in oils, my approach blends elements of impressionism and realism, creating a texture that breathes life and emotion into the canvas, offering a tranquil visual escape in any space. This piece is about savouring simple, fleeting moments, and the profound beauty in the everyday.

To create this painting I used various range of techniques- from an old traditional glazing/sfumato (gained its popularity in 16th-17th century) and blending to impressionistic impasto.
This painting would look great in any home décor style. It is ready to hang, can be framed or hung without a frame - this painting is extended over the edges of the gallery wrapped canvas, is wired, signed and dated by me.
