I'm Margo Pestri, and I create abstract paintings meant to be lived with.

I trained as an architect before spending nearly a decade as a 3D artist. That background continues to shape the way I think about space, depth, balance, and composition.

I'm fascinated by how color, texture, and light can suggest spaces, relationships, and events without clearly defining what they are. I want the elements within a painting to feel connected, even when the nature of that connection remains uncertain.

Some of my works suggest movement, tension, or transformation. Others invite stillness and observation. I'm not interested in following a single theme or telling a particular kind of story. Each painting is an opportunity to explore a different idea.

I have my own associations while creating a piece, but I don't consider them its only possible meaning. I believe the artist steps aside when a painting is finished. From that moment on, the viewer is free to discover something entirely different within it.
