This work explores the tension between order and chaos, stillness and disruption. A luminous golden circle emerges from a deep, almost black surface — calm, complete and seemingly untouchable.

Across it, a vivid red current breaks through the composition. It cuts into the perfect geometry of the circle like an eruption, a wound, or a sudden surge of energy. The contrast creates a moment of instability: something quiet and monumental is being interrupted, but it is unclear whether it is being destroyed or transformed.

The heavily textured surface changes with the light. Gold catches and reflects it, while the darker layers absorb it, allowing the painting to shift subtly as the viewer moves around it.
