The driving force of my creativity is this unique energy enclosed inside me and finds its way out through my creations. I would describe my art as abstract sculpture and as abstract, geometric sculpture. The materials I use are plexiglass and stone, either separately or combined. The color in plexiglass, as well as the color of the graphics, when and if present, is attained manually by screen print. I collect the stones, limestone, and volcanic rocks from the mountains, the sea, rivers, and streams depending on if I am impressed by their shape and the challenge of processing them. Next, in the workshop, I test their durability by smoothing them with the grindstone. I begin the process of smoothing with the thickest grindstone until I reach the thinnest one. All the stones are polished in a completely natural way, without the use of any chemicals. I strive to follow the form of each stone. Although, regarding the abstract geometric sculpture, I have already pre-planned and determined the compositions in my mind. I design the form I desire on the computer and subsequently, I construct my work of art. This procedure intrigues me immeasurably because it involves architecture. I strive to create works of art that are as abstract and as time enduring as possible. I watch closely the events in the art field and I seek to produce unique artworks that create feelings. I wish the buyers of my artworks touch and enjoy them, not only optically nor just as decorative elements of the room they have decided to place them in. I am a self-taught artist. I work and live in Sparta, Greece.
