About Bo Jessen Fogh Laursen

Biography

I am a sculptor working at the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and conceptual practice. This Artfinder shop is dedicated to my analog works—handmade sculptures that often emerge as remnants, offshoots, or quiet counterpoints to my larger, technology-driven installations. Rooted in material exploration, my practice focuses on transformation, reuse, and the subtle tension between presence and absence.

Using clay, fabric, wood, and found materials, I create objects that carry visible traces of process and time. These works often echo ideas of repair, reinterpretation, or residue—forms that suggest something once active, now stilled or transformed. I’m drawn to everyday materials and gestures, often letting the character of the medium guide the final outcome.

Offering these works here allows them to continue evolving—finding new meaning in different spaces, and inviting viewers to engage with them as both tactile objects and quiet inquiries into value and context.
