My work explores the relationship between nature and human creation. I am interested in the subtle boundary between what exists in the natural world and what we transform with our own hands.

Through photography and painting, I work with natural materials, forms, textures and traces of human presence. I am especially interested in the way we take materials from nature, give them new forms, and at the same time try to recreate the patterns and structures we find in the natural world.

I see human creation not as something separate from nature, but as a continuation of it.

My practice is rooted in attentive observation. I look for details, textures and relationships that are easy to overlook, using simplicity and space to give them room to be noticed.

In an increasingly fast and saturated world, I want my work to offer a moment to slow down, look closer and reconnect with the world around us.
