GeGe Hirst is a British artist based near Canterbury, Kent. Through painting, she explores the questions that have fascinated her throughout her life: what it means to be human, how we find meaning, and the connections that exist beneath the surface of everyday experience.

Working between abstraction and representation, her paintings often emerge through layers of colour and texture, allowing figures and forms to appear and dissolve. Influenced by her background in architecture and her experience of living between cultures and perspectives, her work reflects a curiosity about identity, belonging and the unseen aspects of human experience.

Rather than offering answers, Hirst's paintings invite moments of pause, reflection and personal interpretation. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and group exhibitions across the South East of England, London and Europe, and is held in private collections in the UK and internationally.
