My artistic practice explores processes of transformation in nature, society and the inner world of the individual. I work at the boundary between abstraction and figuration, allowing recognisable forms to emerge from colour, texture and movement and then dissolve again.

I primarily use acrylic paint and mixed media on canvas, wood panels and paper. Layers, scratches, transparent surfaces and contrasting textures help me create a sense of depth and an internal rhythm. I often begin without a fixed composition, responding intuitively to the material as the image develops. Gradually, fragments of landscapes, figures and imagined spaces appear.

My experience with theatre has influenced my approach to painting: each work becomes a scene with its own tension, atmosphere and visual dramaturgy. I am particularly interested in uncertain transitional states—moments when familiar reality begins to change but its new form is not yet clear. I want my paintings to remain open to interpretation and invite viewers to discover their own stories within them.
