I am a self-taught contemporary artist whose creative journey began later in life. Although creativity had always been central to my work, painting became a deeply personal means of expression, reflection and discovery.
Working primarily in acrylics, I explore the relationship between intuition and chance through techniques including marble rolling, paint scraping, expressive brushwork and layered mark-making. My practice is centred on pareidolia, the discovery of meaningful imagery within abstract patterns—allowing hidden forms to emerge naturally before developing them into finished compositions.
My work is inspired by nature, imagination and personal experiences, as well as the quiet dialogue between observation and creativity. Each painting invites viewers to pause, look closely and experience their own discoveries, recognising that every image can hold multiple stories depending on the eye of the observer.
I continue to explore and develop different approaches to intuitive painting, creating individual works and evolving series of artwork. My practice remains open to experimentation, allowing each new painting to develop its own character, story and direction. I believe that every artwork is both an act of creation and an act of discovery.
