Artworks by Shane Holland

I have been a registered Artist and Sculptor for over 20 years. I am an NCAD graduate, and have worked on public sculptures, lighting sculptures, 3D paintings / industrial mosaics and many corporate and private interior lighting and furniture projects.

Sources for these mixed materials come from high-tech recycling, island plastic recovery trips on the Irish Sea and other collected or found objects. From my studio I design and create my sculptures, in an array of various metals. I chose the material in my sculptures with great care and reuse and repurpose where possible. My most recent sculptures incorporate an element of lighting and are made as large scale interior pieces for foyers or areas of multiple heights. My pieces are contemporary and abstract, the shapes are bold and dramatic.
