I am a visual artist and industrial designer, and creating art gives me a space to work beyond the functional boundaries of design. My background has trained me to think about structure, materials, repetition, and precision, while my artistic practice allows me to explore unpredictability, gesture, and experimentation. I work primarily with cyanotype and other light-sensitive processes. What fascinates me is that light is not simply used to illuminate or document; it physically participates in creating the image. I can establish a system or composition, but exposure, chemistry, materials, and time introduce variations I can't fully control. This relationship between intention and chance continually drives me to make new work. My current series explores this idea through repetition and rhythm, abstract forms that suggest human presence, and physical marks that preserve traces of movement. I want to sell through Artfinder because I value its focus on original, independently created artwork and the direct connection it creates between artists and collectors. My works are made individually as one-of-a-kind physical pieces, and I want them to exist beyond the studio, to become part of spaces and collections where their material qualities can be experienced in person.
