Marilene Salles was born in the South Coast of Brazil where she grew up, studied and started her artistic career. Over the years she has been travelling both nationally and internationally to exhibit her art. Marilene has had her artwork sold to all over the world through online galleries, art fairs and exhibitions. Her passion translates to artwork through vibrant colours, style and technique.
She started painting when she was only five years old. Her interest for the arts came from her mother, who is also an artist, and she believes it is never too early to introduce a child to the world of art. She believes that being in touch with art at such an early age had developed her self-confidence, expression and creativity tapped into her individual and unique perceptions. "I believe it will help me stay in tune with my creative side throughout my entire life."
