Yearning for you (2023) Original Mixed-media Sculpture by Marilene Salles

Inspired by the great master Pablo Picasso, when I created this piece I was deeply missing someone, therefore it is a representation of how love can hurt when our beloved ones is not around. This is a unique piece, done from scratch by hand. First an inspiration, second a drawing then hands on action to produce this fabulous piece.
I used mixed materials on this sculpture such as epoxy resin, acrylic texture, oil paint in black, white with a touch of red, this piece comes with a very glossy coat of epoxy resin which takes it to another level.
