Neil Wrynne is a UK based artist currently living and working in Northamptonshire. Neil’s work is inspired by the seemingly ordinary world around him. Nature, travel, encounters and everyday objects are all influential.

Having experimented for years in an array of artistic mediums including Oil, Acrylic and Pen and ink. Neil now focuses his attention exclusively on Watercolour Painting.

Using Watercolour has its challenges. Although it can be an unpredictable and unforgiving medium, when you allow the paint to work its magic it can achieve wondrous effects giving so much scope for expression and creativity.

When painting Neil likes to keep the tools he uses and his palette simple, it allows him to paint the way he likes, straightforwardly in tones and values. The result is the creation of atmospheric pictures. 

This straightforward approach comes very naturally to Neil and helps him to focus his attention exclusively on the subject in a way that gives him the opportunity to experiment and advance.
