Artworks by Marie Green

My husband and I lived on a hill in coastal tropical Queensland, Australia - right at the toe of the Great Barrier Reef.

Most of my days were spent happily working away in my open space studio. Bundles of natural light streamed in and sunbeams danced across the pool just outside. Parrots and other native birds come to sample the abundant flowers all year round and gave me plenty of inspiration.

I had to give up painting. My darling husband and Head Critic went Upstairs a couple of years ago so I moved off our hill and now live in the far more crowded, but pleasant, hinterland if the Sunshine Coast.

Thank you for visiting and I hope you find something very special in my creations.
