Artworks by Ed Simkins

I'm a practising artist working mainly with portraiture and using a variety of media including charcoal, pastel, pencil and ink. I explore the effects of light and colour on the human form. I studied at Chelsea School of Art at Foundation level and graduated with a degree in Graphic Design. I work from a home studio, at Putney and Richmond Art Schools and online zoom drawing sessions with models from all over the globe. I took part in Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year series 11. I have exhibited at the Mall Galleries and Hogarth's House in London and Hull University with the Royal Society of Portrait Artists.
