Biography

“Creativity is my breath, the force that keeps me grounded and alive. Through each piece I create, healing flows, offering renewal, connection, and a sense of wholeness.”

Lanre Adefioye’s practice is rooted in a rich blend of cultural and stylistic influences, inviting viewers into a space of introspection, inspiration, and purposeful action. His work merges abstract cubism with elements of pop art, illuminated by visual motifs drawn from African cultural heritage. Bold geometric forms and vibrant palettes define his signature aesthetic.

Working primarily with acrylic on canvas and wooden sculpture, Lanre also creates digital works that extend his visual language across contemporary formats.

Lanre’s artistic journey began as a teenager after a transformative studio visit with the late artist David H. Dale. That experience solidified his commitment to becoming an artist, Further enhanced through formal studies in industrial design and graphic design.

He has exhibited in galleries and art fairs, but over the past decade has focused on online distribution, allowing his work to reach a global audience directly.
