Watercolour has been a constant part of my practice and a way of engaging with the world around me. Through studio work, exhibitions, and installations, it has remained the medium through which I feel most connected to my artistic voice. My work draws inspiration from everyday life—people, city streets, shifting light, and familiar spaces. Rather than documenting a scene, I aim to capture its atmosphere and the experience of being present within it. What I value most about watercolour is its unpredictability. Unplanned washes and unexpected interactions between colors often reveal something that careful planning cannot, giving each work its own character and honesty. I hold a bachelor's degree in fine art and a master's in design. For over a decade, my practice has explored urban landscapes, architecture, and natural environments through themes of atmosphere, memory, and emotional connection. I want to sell on Artfinder because it connects original artwork with people and art collectors who genuinely value the pieces they bring into their homes and collections. It also feels like the right place to grow as an artist—being part of a platform that supports independent artists will encourage me to continue exploring my watercolor practice and help my work reach an audience that truly appreciates it.
