My paintings depict actual historical kaftans worn by Ottoman sultans and preserved in museums in Türkiye. Rather than inventing new designs, I carefully portray these existing garments in oil on canvas, paying close attention to their patterns, colours, and details.

What drives me is a desire to share the craftsmanship and cultural history embodied in these garments through painting. Each work is an opportunity to study and depict a tangible piece of Ottoman history.

I want to sell on Artfinder to reach an international audience who appreciate original paintings and historical textiles. I hope my work helps people discover this heritage while supporting the continuation of my artistic practice.
