Biography
For me, art is a form of survival and a way of communicating with the world. Through painting, I try to share what I feel and how I experience reality. I am interested in the fragility of the world, the vulnerability of human beings, and the fleeting nature of meaningful moments.
My practice is rooted in figurative expressionism and psychological painting. I explore the fragility of perception and the emotional states that shape our experience of life. Following the idea of Carpe Diem, I am drawn to the delicate threshold where joy meets unease and where the beauty of a moment becomes more precious because it cannot last.
The human figure remains at the centre of my work. I see the body as our primary connection to the world — a source of memory, emotion, and identity in an environment that is constantly changing. Through subtle distortions, shifting perspectives, and fluid forms, I seek to reveal both the strength and vulnerability of human experience.
In a time when digital technologies and social transformations increasingly blur the boundaries of identity, I return to the physical presence of the body and to authentic, lived experience.
With more than fifteen years of academic art education, I combine conceptual ideas with strong technical foundations. My training in drawing, composition, colour, and painting techniques allows me to create works with multiple layers of meaning, while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and visual quality that resonates with collectors and contemporary art audiences.
