My paintings grow from a fascination with light and the quiet drama of everyday objects. Working primarily in oil on linen canvas, I use a slow, multilayered process inspired by Old Master techniques. Transparent glazes and finely modelled layers allow colour, depth and luminosity to develop gradually.

I am drawn to fruit, flowers, glass, metal and small living details such as butterflies and insects. These elements are arranged into carefully balanced compositions where ripeness, droplets and fragile natural forms suggest both abundance and the passing of time.

Above all, I try to create the presence of a person who remains unseen. The objects seem to retain a trace of someone who has just left the scene or may return at any moment. Through this quiet tension, I seek to make the traditional still life feel intimate, contemporary and emotionally alive.
