I trained as a professional artist in 1979 studying first at Wakefield School of Arts and subsquently a BA in fine Art in Winchester in the 1980's . I became disillusioned with the  system  of trying to sell my work in traditional galleries and hated the snobbery because I was not a known  name . I continued to paint  and sold privately over the years and forged a career  as a nurse and midwife . I was commissioned by St Georges Trust in Tooting to paint murals in 1996 . Things changed dramatically for me in 2009 when someone recommended me to an online gallery, . I have  now become a best selling artist with them selling over 500 Paintings to date . Other websites and opportunities have followed and I have sold work in America ,Canada,Belguim ,Spain,Switzerland,channel islands as well as he uk.I sell through London Gallery Cornergallery in carlshalton
