I am a Swiss painter with Russian roots, who works and teaches art in her studio in Buchs SG, Switzerland since 2001. I received  education at the Moscow State Textile Academy at the Faculty of Applied Arts in 1993. Growing up among the volcanoes and along the coast of the Pacific Ocean of the Kamchatka Peninsula, I learned early on to sense nature’s permeating energy. I am deeply convinced that the artist bears full responsibility to the viewer for the energy that his work conveys, so therefore the time I spend at the easel I see as sacred. I draw my inspiration from traveling, literature, nature, music and everyday life. Regardless of the source of inspiration, through each of my paintings I try to transmit the unique emotional connection I establish between me and the viewer. At this point I have already participated in more than 60 exhibitions. However, I would love to expand my digital presence, that so far has been limited to my website and social media. I think that Artfinder is the perfect platform to reach a broader audience and connect with artist worldwide. I also find the thought of participation in various competitions organized by Artfinder exciting and would love to become a member of this diverse and inspiring community.
