My main artistic fields are wood printing, painting, drawing and installation.  In most cases I am working in series with a clear overall concept and presentation idea in mind. Many of my series emerge over several years, offering diverse perspectives and a development on a subject. I am working on different series in parallel.

With an expressionist stroke of the brush I am seeking for contrasting aspects like calmness vs. dynamics, emptiness vs. abundance, varying depths vs unbroken colors.

Working as a professional artist since 1991. Projects and exhibitions since 1993. Since 2012 also working printing and installing wood prints. Member of the National Association of Artists, Cologne (Berufsverband bildender Künstler, BBK).
