About Leonardo Miranda

Biography

I am Leonardo Miranda, an artist born in Buenos Aires in 1977. Since I was little, I was raised in a theatrical and artistic environment, surrounded by decorative styles, classical architecture and scenic aesthetics. During my adolescence, I became passionate about mathematics, and I discovered the pleasure of connecting seemingly dissociated ideas and building universes of abstract thought.

That's how I decided to explore my more abstract side and formally study mathematics at the University of Buenos Aires. However, it would not take long for me to discover contemporary art and philosophy, which would fuel a hunger for exploration, and over time I began to experiment with painting and create my own work.

I try to add a touch of intrigue and enigma to what I do, but I also have works that are simply beautiful or curious. I like to think that my art is like a visual puzzle that stops time in the gaze.

My path as an artist has been a bit chaotic, but that's life. I get carried away by the emotion of the moment and am always looking for new ways to express myself. My art is like me, direct and raw, but with a touch of beauty and mystery.
