  • Biography

    Izzy Miller is a classically trained artist, specialising in portraiture and still lives, using the traditional media of charcoal and oil paint.

    Izzy was born in Hong Kong and has enjoyed living in a number of countries. After atelier training in both Sweden and Italy, Izzy went on to complete a Fine Art degree at Lancaster University, securing a First. She is currently completing a Masters in Illustration at Manchester Metropolitan University.

    Izzy is fortunate enough to have international collectors of her work with paintings in the Middle East, New Zealand, Europe, Australia and Asia. Recently she was invited to take part in an art project based in a Macedonian monastery and has represented the United Kingdom in Abu Dhabi's first Art Biennale.

    Event: St. Joakim Osogovski International Art Colony

    Dates: Sept. 1, 2016 - Sept. 30, 2016

    Venue: St. Joakim Osogovski, Macedonia

    I was a participant in the International Art Colony held annually at St. Joakim Osogovski monastery in Macedonia. I produced 2 paintings whilst there that are now part of a private collection in Macedonia.

    Event: UAE First Art Biennale

    Dates: April 4, 2016 - April 30, 2016

    Venue: Hili Rayaan by Rotana, Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, UAE

    I was amongst 40 internationally chosen artists involved in Al Ain's first biennale. During my time there our work was exhibited in two brilliantly curated exhibitions at the Hili Rotana. We reacted to our environment, producing work on site, and were shown the delights of Al Ain city, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
