Mainly self taught watercolourist and oil painter, inspired by artists such as Edward Seago, Edward Wesson, The French impressionists, and the Newlyn school.
Love to paint Plein Air, and will paint outside as often as is possible, even if I don't have the time to paint, I keep a sketch book and pen in the car to do a quick sketch, which seems to take you back to the time you were sketching when you decide to use that sketch for a studio painting.
