I am a full-time Visual Artist born and based in Birmingham (UK) and mainly self-taught. I paint with acrylics on quality stretched deep box canvas. I believe the way I create my paintings is unique to me as I am not aware of anyone else using the same type of process.

You'll find a varied and eclectic mix of artwork as although the finished product is obviously very important, to me it is the process by which I create a painting that is really interesting and as I paint from photographs my subject matter is limitless! 

My aim is to create crisp, vibrant pictures that will surprise you every time you look at them by noticing another detail you had previously missed.

I sell well through galleries nationwide and have exhibited extensively over many years and in several countries and I have paintings in both private and corporate collections around the world including: Singapore, USA, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Australia and Arab Emirates.

A bit about my background: I was for many years (and still am when an interesting project crops up!) a Freelance Corporate Interior Designer/Maker in the music and leisure industries, designing and making hand-painted U.V. backdrops and name & logo banners, mobiles and general nightclub décor. I have also designed and made dance and theatrical costumes for street artists and nightclub performers and organised theme and costume dance events.
