Biography
WHY
I can't even answer the question specifically why this happened. It's just that it's always been with me. It wasn't my conscious choice. "Well, what do you want to become?" or "How do you see yourself in the future." It's not an epiphany at all. I have always painted and in this sense, without thinking, unconsciously just went with the flow. I paint because I genuinely love doing it and I don't see myself any other way now.
CREDO
I am not looking for a deep meaning, I deliberately move away from it into everyday trifles, idle things, decorative. My works are of a decorative and aesthetic nature. Get visual pleasure. My melody is the enjoyment of idleness, everyday life. A cup of coffee with a beautiful view from the window, empty conversations, street walk, a cafe, an old street.
WHAT
Houses, streets, cafes, shops, windows, chairs, pavements, signs, inscriptions, plants, flowers, noise, smell, wires, poles. I like the city, the old town. This is a comfortable environment for me, a source of inspiration. Aged, weathered, cracked, faded texture, plasters of houses, door paints, paving bricks, patterns, texts. Traces of time mixed up with objects of everyday life.
MATERIAL
Decorative, flatness, lack of perspective, often light and shadow. I'm not trying to be realistic. I like the aged texture, the combination of different surfaces, text, and materials. I mostly work in acrylic and watercolor, mixing it on canvas, cardboard or paper, using texture and varnish.
HOW
The more the painting paints itself, the better. Controlled chaos. I'm moving away from writing the details manually. I let the details happen by themselves. I strive to allow the painting to paint itself as much as possible, the hand to move itself, try not to control it, not to think much. I would like the composition to look as if it were random, taken out of context.
I use a reference, decompose it into abstract masses, then add realistic details. The game is on the verge of the real and the abstract. Take reality, destroy it and recreate it in your own way. That's about what I do.

I am independence full-time artist from Russia. I graduated from the Art school and Аrt faculty of Smolensk State University in Russia.I have been working as a professional artist for about 10 years.
