About Anastasiia Tarasiuk

Biography

Anastasiia Tarasiuk (b. 1988, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian multidisciplinary artist based in Belgium.

Working primarily with linocut, printmaking, and mixed media, her practice explores themes of memory, transformation, vulnerability, and the relationship between humans and the natural world. Through symbolic imagery, she creates visual narratives that reflect on war, ecological loss, resilience, and the invisible forces shaping contemporary life.

Her recent projects, including The Last Bloom, What If, and My Country at War, combine traditional printmaking techniques with a conceptual approach, transforming botanical forms, urban landscapes, and symbolic figures into metaphors for collective memory and personal experience.

Since moving to Belgium, Tarasiuk has actively participated in exhibitions across Belgium and Ukraine while continuing her studies in printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Herentals.
