Bloom 4 (in color) (2025) Linocut by Anastasiia Tarasiuk

14.8 x 21cm

£241.3

In this series, various graphic techniques are used, including traditional linocut, manual printing methods, and mixed media techniques. Each work expresses the identity of the plant in its own visual language: sometimes subtle and fragile, sometimes monumental and powerful.
During the research process, I collaborated with Dr. Vitalii Kolomiichuk, a biologist and deputy director of the Botanical Garden of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
His scientific expertise and botanical sources formed the foundation for an artistic practice in which aesthetics and ecology come together.
