My focus has always been the connection between nature and human beings. In particular I found in trees my source of inspiration whether they are totemic single trees in a prairie, or symbolic woods or wild forests or again places for childhood memories or gardens where to rest. Lately I loved the idea of their potential entirely expressed in a seed or pine cone. So I started painting acorns for oaks, cones for pines, etc.
