Biography
Ida Harm is an Italian contemporary artist working across photography, painting, sculpture and installation. Her practice explores nature, ecology, transformation and the relationship between human beings and the living world.
Stones, seeds, plants, traces, soil and organic materials become starting points for works that inhabit the uncertain territory between natural form and artistic invention.
Rather than representing nature, Harm seeks to create a relationship with it. Her artworks explore hybrid forms, ecological processes and the intelligence of materials, inviting viewers to look differently at the seemingly ordinary elements of the landscape.
Her work includes contemporary photography, mixed media, natural materials, environmental art and site-specific installations.
