About Stanley Chu
Biography
I
am a Brooklyn-based artist, born and raised here. I primarily work with
oil paints to create emotive landscape paintings. My work is driven by
what I see and what I feel, depicting the color and light of a given
place through expressive brushstrokes. I hope to record my experience of the world and to strive to create something meaningful or beautiful from it.
Currently I am also studying art education in pursuit of a career as an art teacher, in addition to my oil painting practice.
