Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

This Mixed Media Painting is part of the series of work of Disasters of War and is inspired by the concept of producing a piece art based around the theme of 'Yogurt' for other artists for submission for the Yogurt Art Project. This is inspired on a visit to Bullring in Birmingham, UK which has a sculpture in Bronze of a Bull on guarding the outside of the Shopping Centre. The Bull has been inspired by the Bull of Pablo Picasso. The background has been inspired by the circles of the nearby façade of the department store Selfridges, which has metal circles, with a blue background, these look similar to the aerial view of Silver Tops of Yogurts Pots. Yogurt is a Culture, made up of friendly bacteria, which the intestine digests, such as Bio-Yogurts. This piece of work is the Battle between the Friendly Bacteria, and the Unfriendly Bacteria. This Yogurt has been Mixed with PVA Glue to fix the medium to the paper, and mixed with various strengths of Vanilla, Strawberry and Blackcurrant Yogurt :P , just like mixing the two halves of a 'Muller' Yogurt together. After time, the Friendly Bacteria will Decay and cause Mold (Bacteria) to grow on the piece, making Unfriendly Bacteria!

N.B This artwork is currently being cured and will be available from Mid December. Due to the nature of this artwork, it is expected that this will deteriorate over time, so colours, textures may change.
