Paradise Gardens…my new series of botanicals explores immersion into my dream botanical world in more depth.. I really want the viewer to feel full involvement with this series… to look up in wonder and lose yourself in the tropical foliage.

At first glance, it’s a lush, tropical garden—but not one bound by reality. The plants seem to breathe and lean toward you, their leaves outlined in vivid pinks and electric greens, as if lit from within. Towering palms stretch upward, their deep blues and purples dissolving into a soft, almost misty sky, giving the whole scene a sense of depth and quiet movement.

There’s a warmth at the centre—a glowing, sunlit ground that looks almost like molten gold or reflected sunset. It draws your eye inward, inviting you to wander through the dense, joyful chaos of flowers and foliage. Every corner reveals something new: delicate blossoms tucked behind bold, sculptural leaves, unexpected bursts of orange and magenta, tiny details that reward slow looking.

What makes it compelling isn’t just the colour—though the palette is fearless and uplifting—it’s the mood. It’s both energizing and calming, like being somewhere far away while still feeling completely at ease. The scene isn’t crowded; it’s alive. There’s space to breathe, to imagine yourself immersed inside the gardens.

It’s the kind of piece that changes and really makes a room. Not by overpowering it, but by quietly radiating warmth and curiosity. You’ll catch yourself noticing different details at different times of day, the colors shifting with the light, the composition revealing new pathways for your eyes to follow.

Owning this isn’t just about decoration—it’s about bringing a vibrant tropical world into your everyday life.
