"Reflections on the Ephemeral Nature of Life and Football" is an irony about irony itself. It mocks football, but above all, it mocks our need to take it seriously. It is a bitter smile in the face of the human pretense of giving meaning to something inherently meaningless.

The certificate of authenticity will be printed in full color, then hand-signed and dated by the artist.

This work is part of my ongoing series of analogue collages.

Technique and conservation: Original collage on MDF panel. Paper applied with vinyl adhesive. The reverse side of the support is sealed with water-based transparent acrylic varnish for wood/MDF, helping protect against humidity and environmental changes. The surface is protected with a satin UV protective varnish.
Materials: Paper, vinyl adhesive, MDF panel, transparent acrylic varnish, UV protective varnish.
