Landscape of Auvergne, France.
On this summer day, the sky has taken possession of the landscape. Immense white and gray cumulus clouds, charged with an almost palpable energy, dominate the composition.
In contrast to the monumental inconstancy of the atmosphere, the meadows below remain anchored in a motionless heat, golden and nearly scorched by the intense light of the Auvergne summer.
It is precisely in this friction between the motionless earth and the moving sky that, for me, the entire poetry of this high-altitude landscape resides.
