While creating this painting, I imagined the first soft light spreading across the shoreline, dissolving boundaries between water, air, and earth. I wanted the composition to feel immersive and spacious — like a memory of standing near the sea where light moves slowly across the landscape and every detail becomes softened by atmosphere.

The painting was developed through multiple layers of acrylic paint applied with palette knives, brushes, scraping techniques, and expressive gestural marks. Rich textures create depth and movement across the canvas, allowing the surface to continuously interact with natural light throughout the day. Soft blue tones blend with luminous whites and misty grays, while darker passages of charcoal and deep earth tones provide grounding and contrast. Subtle ochre accents introduce warmth and organic energy within the composition.
